Description
 "Mingo (Blue Kangaroo Grass)")
An attractive and versatile low growing Australian native grass featuring stunning blue grassy foliage.
Plants need annual trimming, they thrive in most soils and are drought and frost tolerant.
Ocassional watering will make the plant look nicer.
Uses
Ideal for rocky pockets, as a low border, for planting on sloping sites and as a low ground cover under trees and shrubs or open sunny positions.
Position "Mingo (Blue Kangaroo Grass)")
Grows well in both sunny and part shaded positions.
Care
Water well for the first 2-3 months to promote a quicker ground cover.
Trim older foliage when required and apply slow release fertilizer in Spring and Autumn.
'Mingo', a blue prostrate form of Kangaroo grass with rusty red/brown semi prostrate seed heads. Flowers over the Summer months.
'Mingo' has an overall spread of about 60cm in diameter and stands approximately 15cm to 30cm tall.
It makes an ideal ground cover grass for native gardens, golf courses or anywhere an informal ground cover is needed.
