SHARA™

Lomandra fluviatilis 'ABU7'

DescriptionShara

Shara is a fine leaf Lomandra with slightly blue grey tones. It is more compact than the common Lomandra fluviatilis. It flowers more than most forms and they sit well above the foliage.

It grows to approx. 40cm high and 50cm wide.

Uses

It is an ideal choice for mass planting in periodic wet and dry areas when a low growing tidy and tough plant is needed.

PositionShara width=

Full sun to moderate shade. Shara has tested well in the humidityof Brisbane and Sydney for 3 years with no sign of death from root rot so far. It has also done well in some colder climates, surviving in -5°c frosts and staying evergreen. Shara is proving to be a good lower growing alternative for Tanika, particularly in humid climates. It can handle periodic wet feet.

CareShara

Almost no maintenance is needed for Shara because of its great drought tolerance and low growing nature. Trim as required. Recommended planting at 8 per square metre as a blanket ground cover.
