Best Erosion Control Plants
Tanika is probably used on roadsides more than any other plant in NSW. It is known as a tough and reliable plant that stays evergreen.
Tanika is also an excellent erosion control plant. It has one of the most substantial fibourous root systems of any plant. Tanika has proven itself on hundreds of projects, working well to bind soil.
Tanika can tolerate periodic wet feet, but it is best to avoid using Tanika in areas that get regular wet feet.
