SWEEPER® is a Waterhousea with a heavily weeping habit
SWEEPER® Waterhousea floribunda ‘DOW20’
The Sweeper® tree is an improved variety of Waterhousea featuring a heavily weeping habit with gorgeous lush green new growth and an elegant rippled leaf. It produces large clusters of white flowers in summer.
Sweeper® Waterhousea has a much denser form than the common Waterhousea, making it the ideal plant for a medium to large dense screen.
Sweeper® Waterhousea also makes a stunning street tree, feature plant or shade tree performing well in sites like the WestPoint Shopping Centre in NSW. WestPoint has used large specimens for pavement plantings creating a lovely softening effect in a harsh concrete environment.
Sweeper® Waterhousea looks superb no matter what landscape you put it in. You will be swept away by this majestic tree.
Sweeper® Waterhousea can also be seen at Mirvac’s Mornington Estate at Holsworthy, NSW where it has been effectively used for street trees and screening.
Sweeper® Waterhousea grows to a height of 10 metres x 5-8m wide.
