Poa labillardieriESKDALE‘

  • Proven as best mass landscape Poa for 15 years
  • Best for low cost, fast establishing mass plantings
  • Much less straw in summer and winter

Description: More drought tolerant, ‘Eskdale’ is longer lived with fine blue leaves. It is the largest Poa which makes it great at outcompeting weeds and it looks better for longer than the common form.

Size: 60cm high x 50cm wide.

Uses: Mass plantings, gardens, rockeries and slopes.

Position: Full sun to part shade. ‘Eskdale’ suits a wide variety of soils. Tolerates frost and drought.

Care: Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended). Use slow release fertiliser in spring and/or autumn. Trim back annually to 15cm above the ground in autumn or late winter.

Where it works: NSW, ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA & QLD (only for non humid regions like Toowoomba with some shade)
