Cool Steel Agapanthus is a compact clumping perennial with blue flowers towering over neat, clean green foliage. Blooms prolifically from spring to summer, boasting up to 30 large flower clusters per plant.

Cool Steel Agapanthus is a great option for dry gardens or providing a tropical feel in cooler climates, and with its super-abundant blooming, it provides an abundance of nectar and pollen for a variety of pollinators from butterflies to bees.

When other varieties have finished flowering by summer, Cool Steel Agapanthus is just getting started and will continue to bloom for a few more months. Fertilising in late winter or early spring each year, particularly with organics like compost, will keep it looking its best.
