Compact, slightly spreading architectural native shrub with fine hairy leaves, adding textual interest. Its smoky, feathery look, fresh green growth, and seasoned blue-gray foliage create mist-like garden contrast.

Bright claw-shaped red flowers, contrast with fluffy pine-like foliage. Bred to handle Sydney’s humidity and Melbourne’s damp; durable even in moderate heavy soils.

Size: 600mm H. 700mm W.
Planting Density: 2 to 4 per square metre, 2 to 3 per linear metre.
Uses: Modern commercial and residential landscapes, border for fences/driveways, mixed/mass planting, pruned ground cover, small feature shrub, planter boxes, containers, slopes and retaining walls, wildlife gardens.

Position: Full sun to part shade. Prefers reasonable drainage, copes better with moderate heavy soil with periodic wet compared with straight species.
Care: Fertilise at establishment and to rejuvenate. Prune to tidy or to make shorter every 5 years or leave natural.
