Macarthur™ Callistemon was bred from Captain Cook and Little John, providing a more compact, better flowering Callistemon with a tidy, bushy growth habit.

Macarthur™ Callistemon will reach approximately 1.8m high x 1.5 m wide. It responds well to pruning.

Great as a medium sized shrub in specimen or group plantings.

It grows best in full sun, but can work in part shade. Macarthur™ Callistemon works in most soil conditions and has very good frost and drought tolerance.

Water well until established and prune after flowering. In sandy soils or very dry climates, top-up watering is reccommended in the summer months.
