MEEMA™ is a tidy Hardenbergia groundcover with great form

MEEMAHardenbergia violacea ‘HB1’ 

A tidy longer lived shrubby ground cover with great form. It grows approximately 300-450mm high with a 2 metre spread.

Ozbreed has been working on Hardenbergia for almost a decade and It was well worth the wait. In our trials of amongst 20 varieties, only Meema™ Hardenbergia kept crisp clean foliage through very cold winters and hot dry periods of northerly winds.

Uses
Great as a feature plant for gardens and landscapes. In a pot Meema™ Hardenbergia has the ability to grow in a clump, holding a great form without the need for a trellis.

Flowering
Purple flowers from July – Sept

Best Planting Time
March – October

Position
Full sun to semi shade.

Care
Prune after flowering. Meema™ Hardenbergia works in sandy to heavy clay soils. Ozbreed have had Meema™ Hardenbergia in our trail gardens for many years and it has maintained a very tidy form, even without pruning.
