Pink Dome™ Eremophila is a compact, dense Australian native emu bush bred for its naturally rounded habit and abundance of highly ornamental tubular pink flowers with speckled throats.

Small, narrow glossy green foliage is held tightly along highly branched stems, creating a neat dome that looks attractive throughout the year. Requiring less pruning than larger varieties, Pink Dome™ Eremophila is ideal for low hedging, clipped domes, formal native gardens and modern landscapes. Its nectar-rich flowers are highly attractive to birds, bees, butterflies and other beneficial pollinators.

• Size: Typically grows to approximately 550–900 mm high × 550–900 mm wide, naturally forming a dense rounded shrub with minimal pruning.
• Planting Density: 1–1.5 plants per m²
  Plant 1–1.5 metres apart for individual dome-shaped specimens or informal mass planting.
• Uses: Perfect for low formal hedging, clipped domes, box-shaped plantings, native gardens, pollinator gardens, streetscapes and residential landscapes. Its naturally compact form also makes it an excellent choice for low-maintenance commercial landscapes.
• Position: Performs best in full sun to part shade. Best flowering and growth occur in sunny positions with good air circulation.
• Care: Water regularly during establishment. Once established, it is highly drought tolerant. Prune to maintain the desired shape, but avoid cutting back into old wood. Well-drained soil is essential, as the plant dislikes prolonged wet conditions.
• Where it works: Recommended for NSW, VIC, SA, TAS and WA. Additional testing is continuing in QLD and the ACT.
• Flowers: Produces masses of soft pink tubular flowers with darker speckled throats. Flowering is most prolific during spring, with repeat flowering continuing throughout the warmer months. The flowers provide an excellent nectar source for birds, bees, butterflies and other pollinators.
