ROYAL RAMBLER™ Grevillea

Royal Rambler™ Grevillea hybrid ‘RR01’ PBR

  • Grows faster like ‘Bronze Rambler’, yet has the smaller height of ‘Poorinda Royal Mantle’
  • Coppery red new growth foliage
  • Low maintenance

Description: Royal Rambler™ Grevillea is a cross between ‘Poorinda Royal Mantle’ and ‘Bronze Rambler’. It is an extremely low growing ground cover that is low maintenance.

This makes Royal Rambler™ Grevillea ideal for large scale gardens. It can be used in smaller gardens if pruned regularly.

Size: 20-30cm high x 2-5m wide.

Planting Density: 1-2 plants per m².

Uses: Ground cover and specimen planting.

Position: Full sun to part shade. Suits free draining to moderately heavy soils (prefers free draining soils in Sydney), avoid soils with pH above 7. Tolerates cold and drought.

Care: Water as required for 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well mulched garden (chunky mulch is recommended).

Use slow release fertiliser sparingly or a native fertiliser as required. Prune as required in spring or autumn.

Where it works: ACT, VIC, TAS, SA, WA, NSW (best suited Sydney and south, will work in some parts of Northern NSW) & QLD (for free draining soils in raised areas).
