Description: Sage has been used for generations to help with headaches and nausea. Absolute™ Sage, the classic flavour of this plant is very tough but also ornamental in your garden.

With a well-balanced branching habit it’s an absolute winner no matter which style you prefer.

Size: 25-35cm H x 35-45cm W

Planting Density: Plant Absolute™ Sage 30cm apart in spring, summer and early autumn in full sun to light shade. It prefers well drained soil, avoid wet feet.

Uses: With flavours previously only available from mature, wild grown Mediterranean herbs, Absolute™ Sage is great in stuffing, pasta, on meats, potatoes, stews, pizza and more.

Position: Full sun to part shade. Suits most soil types. Moderate frost tolerance and good drought tolerance.

Care: Water as required, allowing soil to dry out slightly between watering. Avoid over watering, particularly in winter.

In spring and in autumn if required, use a slow release fertiliser and/or incorporate compost into the soil.

If heavily harvested, apply a light application of quick release as required (usually only for pots).

Harvest as required by picking leaves. If required, prune by up to 1/3 in spring or early autumn.
