Lady Tanika® Lomandra is a revolution in Lomandra breeding. This compact, clumping plant is not only beautiful with its fine, green leaves but also highly disease-resistant.

Unlike male Lomandras, Lady Tanika® does not attract ants, significantly reducing the risk of root rot. Its leaves stay clean with fewer blemishes, and its flowers are self-cleaning, maintaining a neat appearance for longer periods.

Flowering Information: Lady Tanika® produces non-viable seeds and has self-cleaning flowers, making it easier to maintain its elegant clumping shape.

• Size: 600mm high x 650mm wide
• Planting Density: 3-4 plants per m², 2-3 plants per linear metre
• Uses: Ideal for mass planting, borders along fences and driveways, feature pots, drainage swales, and rain gardens. Suitable for defining boundaries in landscapes.
• Species: Lomandra longifolia
• Position: Thrives in full sun to moderate shade. Very frost-tolerant and copes well with both drought and wet conditions. Prefers well-drained soil but is very forgiving of poor conditions.
• Care: Water as required for the first 8-13 weeks until established. Plant in a well-mulched garden (chunky mulch recommended). Trim as needed, but less frequently than other Lomandra types. For best results, avoid planting the crown below the soil or mulch level. Use slow-release fertiliser in spring if necessary.
• Where it works: Suitable for ACT, VIC, SA, WA, TAS, NSW, and QLD.
• Flowers: Produces non-viable seeds and self-cleaning flowers ensuring a long-lasting ornamental look.
