ROBUSTO™ ROSEMARY

Robusto™ Rosmarinus officinalis ‘ROS01’ PBR

  • Classic, stronger flavour than other blue flowered forms
  • Lower growing, dark green bushy habit
  • Nice bright blue flowers

Description: The soft leaves of Robusto™ Rosemary are less chewy and full of flavour.

Lower growing than traditional Rosemary, this plant is ideal as a compact hedge, or natural bushy shrub 45-60cm high.

Size: 45-60cm H x 45-60cm W

Planting Density: Plant 45-60cm apart in well drained soil, full sun to light shade, preferably in spring, summer and early autumn.

Uses: The stronger flavour of this plant makes dishes sing the praise of this healthy Rosemary.

Delicious on lamb and other European meat dishes, great for pizzas, focaccia, potatoes, or use as a healthy addition to olive oil.

Care: Water as required, allowing soil to dry out between watering. In spring and autumn if required, use a slow release fertiliser.

Avoid over fertilising. Harvest as required. Prune by up to 1/3 in spring to encourage new, softer growth, and early autumn as well if required.
