Stunning Blue Flowers and Foliage

Description
Cassa Blue Compact rich blue foliage with a far superior display compared to most Dianellas.

Foliage grows to approximately 50cm in height with a spread of approximately 40cm.

Uses
Cassa Blue Colour contrasting plant. Mass planting, accent plant, foliage or grassy gardens. Low water requirement gardens.

Position
Cassa Blue Tolerates a wide range of soils and climatic conditions. Suited to full sun as well as partially shaded positions. Hardy with excellent cold, heat, frost and drought tolerance.

Care
Trim older leaves annually as required to maintain a neat appearance. Plant in a well mulched garden. Apply a slow release fertiliser once per year in Spring.

 

Flowers
Cassa Blue Cassa Blue has beautiful foliage and great flowers. Its mass of baby blue flowers grow to about 55cm in height.

This tough, drought and frost tolerant Dianella caerulea's foliage grows to approximately 40cm tall with a spread of 40 cm.

Its form is more of a clumping Dianella caerulea rather than spreading.

Its stunning blue foliage, and highly desirable size and shape, make it the ideal plant for commercial landscapes, and home garden designs.

Versatile

Tough & Brilliant Blue
A natural toughness makes this an ideal plant for mass planting. Cassa Blue is slower growing, but once established is very tough.

Cassa Blue In some ways Cassa Blue has the shape of a dwarf Phormium, but it is a lot tougher. Its blue colour provides great contrast in any garden or landscape design.
